What is UDL
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is “a blueprint for creating flexible goals, methods, materials, and assessments that accommodate learner differences…it is meant to underscore the need for multiple approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners”(Center for Applied Special Technology, n.d.).

Click on the link to be taken to the new UDL Guidelines http://www.udlcenter.org/aboutudl/udlguidelines_theorypractice. According to the CAST website this is an alternate version of the UDL Guidelines found in the new book UDL Theory and Practice. The principles, guidelines and research basis are the same, however the order of the principles and the guidelines have changed.
