Social Studies
Children need opportunities to learn about Social Studies. Each student is unique in how they learn and each learner has varying knowledge, life experiences and backgrounds. In Social Studies they learn skills ranging from reading a map to learning how to validate evidence and evaluate conflicting points of view. As a result, they need a variety of opportunities to explore topics in Social Studies that they can apply to the real world.
The Social Studies section has been divided into Social Studies for students in Primary and Middle/Secondary classrooms. Click on the links in these sections to online Social Studies activities. These activities can be used to supplement your curriculum while enriching and engaging your students.
